ABOUT ME

Nicole Horn-Shelton was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. She now resides in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She is married to the love of her life Terrance Shelton. They share their only child, Ajee'.  Nicole retired at the early age of 44 but not truly ready to stop working, so she decided to work on her goals. Nicole has been inspired to write since she was a child. Her imagination is extensive and forever thinking of ways to make things better.

Throughout her life, Nicole played the background and behind the scenes. However, she was still able to showcase her intelligence and talents. At times even, allowing others to take her credit.

As Nicole began to grow she decided to come to the forefront in her own way, through books and playwrights. Somewhat still behind the scenes, she's now taking credit with the power of her pen.

She is an enthusiastic, passionate and humorous writer. Her creative mind is phenomenal and will take her readers on an emotional journey. Her playwriting will allow her audience to see her writing come to life on stage.

The writing process behind her  works has been a long road and she is ready and eager to share with the world. Her books and plays are like babies she actual birthed, and she has nurtured them as such. Her writing is created to put you in the characters' shoes.

Nicole Horn-Shelton uses Serenity K as her pseudonym for her children's book. After finally realizing her dream of publishing her own novels, she decided to venture into the children's world.

Different genres can be difficult at times, but Serenity K is determined to reach all readers, tall and small, through one book or play at a time.

After long heartfelt prayers, Nicole Horn-Shelton started her production company; Miracles of May Productions, LLC, (M.O.M.) M.O.M. is a one stop shop. Writing, Ghostwriting, Coaching, and Playwriting.
